The TradeConnect network allows for two types of roles: ‘Participants’ and ‘Providers’ that will consist of Institutional and retail traders complimented by financial service providers.
There are two kinds of Participants:
The Market Maker creates the terms of the contract that forms the offer to trade a particular financial product. and Market Takers who can browse the contracts that are being offered and can accept them by by entering into a trade.
There are three kinds of Provider:
The ThinkConnect Contract which stores the locked ether and tokens which form the amount being traded by the parties and settles the trades made off-chain. The contract is also the guard of the rules.
Relays are the off-chain store of trading offers created by Market Makers, and Oracles deliver information and ultimately determine the contract result.
